Hadleigh, Tuesday, 14th June 2022:

The doorbell rang and there she was!  Joyce was the first person to arrive for our meeting at 2:00 o'clock - the first non-virtual Zoom meeting since Covid always arranged by Joyce. 

It was a surprise and joy for all of us to have her company as we met in the garden to make the most of the sunshine, and catch up with each other.  prayers were said, and plans made for a July meeting,  and enjoy the luscious lemon drizzle cake baked to perfection by Jenny.  

Initially Joyce was not sure how long she would stay, but she managed to spend the whole afternoon with us as we caught up with each other and looking back now, I believe we will always treasure Joyce's most generous and precious gift of the time she spent with us, as we return again and again to the memories made on that wonderful day.
